The American Hospital at Burlish Top

What a fascinating evening we've had learning all about Camp Bewdley (now known as Burlish Camp) which was in fact made up of 2 American army camps. One was at Burlish Top and the other was where part of the current Burlish estate now lies. Both were converted to American army hospitals towards the latter stages of of WW2. A big thank you to Geoff Shaw for a really interesting insight into this aspect of our local history.
